A New Tenant Flows into H2O
28th November 2012
A growing company which provides software management packages to technology businesses is expanding and has relocated to bigger offices at H2O, Sherwood Park in a deal secured by NG Chartered Surveyors.
Acting on behalf of the landlord Highbridge Developments, NG secured the letting of the 1,650 sq ft office to CC Apps, which specialise in providing consultancy services to technology companies using leasing or structured finance management software. The company’s clients include BT, TalkTalk and The Mitel Group.
CC Apps has been based in Sherwood Park for three years in shared offices. Now, due to organic growth and a recent capital investment from a third party, the company is expanding and needed an entire building to accommodate this growth.
Dan Proctor, CEO of CC Apps said: “We have been trading for three and a half years now and have grown significantly in this short time. I initially started the company myself working independently from home, before moving in to a shared office in Sherwood Park in November 2009. Since then we have continued to grow and we now employ 20 people and we really needed to take the next step and take office space of our own. As well as experiencing organic growth, we have also recently received an equity investment which has given us working capital of £2 million.
“There are a number of reasons we have chosen H2O, firstly, our ethos is simple – we want to give our team the best possible working environment we can and the physical location at H2O is very good. We wanted a modern building which was attractive in its design and this fitted the bill. It is also in an excellent location, being in close proximity to the M1 which means that it is easy for staff coming in and going home and having sufficient car parking spaces was also important to us.”
H2O is located at the heart of the prestigious Sherwood Park, at J27 of the M1, and within four miles of Nottingham. Sherwood Park is home to a thriving business community including Rolls Royce, Perot Systems, Pendragon, Johnson Diversey, Eon and DHL.
Jonathon Seddon of NG said: “H2O is in a strategic location, on the north western edge of Nottingham. It benefits from an excellent road network and a stunning work environment. This unique development is set amongst ornamental lakes and tree lined avenues in one of the UK’s premier business parks and has been designed to accommodate a range of small businesses looking for their own self-contained office. This modern look and location is what suited Dan and his team’s requirements perfectly.
“More and more often, we are now seeing companies looking to relocate from serviced offices as we can offer a far more cost effective solution with the flexibility companies require. H2O is proving to be particularly popular and we have already had a lot of interest in the remaining units.”
Innes England are joint agents on the scheme.
