Interest Snowballs at Giltbrook
26th November 2009
A run of transactions brings British Land and Parlison Properties’ Giltbrook Industrial Park’s scheme to 70% of the units either sold, let or under offer.
This is excellent progress less than 12 months following completion of the new build industrial park next to Ikea.
Amongst the companies taking advantage of the accessible and visible location are Ventilation Centres who have added to their network of 4 units for the stocking and distribution of ventilation duct work, and Telecom Connections who have relocated from Moorgreen.
They join a number of other occupiers including Screwfix, Barker & Stonehouse and Apollo Signs on the 20 unit scheme, which has been designed to a superior specification, set within landscaped fenced and gated surrounds, and benefitting from 24 hours security and CCTV coverage.
The scheme which adjoins the recently extended Giltbrook Retail Park, anchored by IKEA, is built and ready for immediate occupation through joint agents NG Chartered Surveyors and Geo. Hallam & Son.
Nick Dunn, NG Chartered Surveyors commented “The level of take up at Giltbrook has been fantastic, especially in the current economic climate. The units are exceptionally well designed, and are a superior product in an excellent location. The IKEA factor has helped put the scheme on the map”.
Roger Davis from Geo. Hallam & Sons added “An excellent occupier mix is evolving with the scheme appealing to both tenants and purchasers alike, drawn by the secure location adjacent to a retail destination scheme with excellent M1 access.”
Self-contained units from 2,700 sq.ft. to 11,000 sq.ft. remain available on a mixture of freehold and leasehold terms.
