Moorgreen Goes from Strength to Strength
24th October 2012
The thriving Moorgreen Industrial Estate at Eastwood is home to a wide range of successful occupiers. The starting point for many new businesses are the small 1,000 sq ft units at Chestnut House and the brand new Sycamore Pods. These entry level units have everything a business needs but most importantly are on sensible rents that are payable monthly to the on-site management team. Another important factor is that these units also currently qualify for 100% small business rates relief.
Raj Dhiri of Ship It Appliances Ltd commented, “The location is great and you don’t have to battle through traffic to get to or leave work, which was really important to us. The Sycamore Pods units are very pleasant to work in, they’re clean and crisp and we are paying less here than we were in our old unit which was half the size.”
Henry Henson of NG, who worked closely with our clients to improve occupancy levels, commented: “At the beginning of the year both Chestnut House and Sycamore House were only 50% occupied; our aim is to achieve a 100% occupancy level by the end of the year.”
“Within the last fortnight we completed lettings of units 4 and 5 to LDB Renewable Energy and Energy Vending Ltd. As many small businesses will tell you, timing is often critical to a firm’s success and with this in mind, we were able to complete both deals in less than a week from the day they viewed. We have another 3 units under offer, leaving only 2 Pods to go.”
“Combined with the other sized units available at Moorgreen, we can work with tenants as their businesses evolve without them having to move elsewhere.”
