Paul Smith Open £10m Warehouse in Nottingham
Warehouse Premises Acquired in Nottingham
In a covert operation NG Chartered Surveyors have acquired new warehouse premises on Lenton Lane, Nottingham for fashion icon Paul Smith . The state of the art facility will be used to dispatch high class clothing and fashion accessories to 74 countries around the world.
Richard Sutton at NG, who has acted for Paul Smith for ten years, had been faced with a challenging brief to identify and secure the new facility and when the opportunity came to light, it took less than four weeks to complete the sale in an off market transaction.
The 135,000 sq ft warehouse has been subject to an intensive fit out to include a bespoke handling systems to improve the company's efficiencies and quality of service and employs 130 staff, in conjunction with another 300 employees based in Nottingham. The launch of the new facility has been meticulously planned to handle Paul Smiths spring/summer 2009 collection.
Richard also acquired the company's flagship Nottingham store Willoughby House on Low Pavement for an undisclosed sum in 2005.
