NG Letting Success on Rani Business Park
15th October 2010
Rani is an unusual name for a Business Park, but it comes from the name of the mother of Jack, Steve and Gary Digva who trade as Chartwell Properties. The three brothers believe it brings them luck, however they’ve not needed luck as far as letting success has gone on the scheme, as occupiers have been drawn to the superb quality of the units which include innovative features such as photovoltaic panels on the roof and full height, electric security shutters to the fenestration.
Over half the scheme has already been let to include Jones & Co, who have been providing buttons, zips and ribbons to the clothing industry for over 100 years. They have moved into a 7,164 sq.ft unit and John Ashley, Managing Director of Jones & Co, commented, “for some time now it has been apparent that our Interiors Division had outgrown its current premises. We are thrilled to have located additional space so near to our headquarters in New Basford. We are confident that this will enable us to continue the growth we have achieved in this market over the last 24 years.”
Jonathon Seddon of NG Chartered Surveyors commented ”I am absolutely delighted with the success we’ve had with the Rani Business Park, but I haven’t been surprised as, even when we were planning the scheme, I was confident of it proving popular given the lack of competing stock, but also because of the quality of the units which is exceptional. We are pushing to get the scheme fully let within the year which will be a remarkable achievement as they were only completed in March.
Jack Digva of Chartwell Properties commented “We are thrilled that we’ve been able to secure some excellent tenants on to the Rani Business Park and I would like to wish them all the very best for the future”.
