Richard came to NG as a graduate in 1989 and worked his way to equity partner in 1999. Since 2004, he has concentrated on investment consultancy and brokering, portfolio evaluation and strategic corporate property issues. A recent notable success was the acquisition of the new 135,000 sqft Paul Smith warehouse in Nottingham, which completed within four weeks of the opportunity being identified.
Richard has now transacted investments worth over £75 million, in predominantly ‘off market’ deals in the office and industrial sectors securing value for both purchasers and vendors. By acquiring premises this way, he has also been able to offer a greater degree of discretion, something the majority of private investors seem to prefer.

Married with two young daughters, Nick recently achieved a life-long ambition to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain.

In the winter, his passion is ski-ing but the summer sees him watching Formula One motor racing.
