A Further Sale at Giltbrook
20th September 2011
The Giltbrook Industrial Park, situated to the rear of the successful Giltbrook Retail Park, is a rare thing; a brand new industrial development that has flourished throughout the recession. The latest deal on the development sees the international removals and storage firm, Pickfords, take an 11,000 sq ft detached unit on the scheme. The company chose Giltbrook to replace an existing facility in Hucknall, due to its higher profile and its accessibility, being situated less than 2 ½ miles from junction 26 of the M1.
James Hall of joint agents, Geo Hallam commented, “We are delighted to secure such a well known company onto the Park. Its a development that has proven to be an unqualified success as a consequence of the quality of its construction, its accessibility and its address – everyone knows where Ikea is!”
The 20 unit scheme provides over 72,500 sq ft of space and includes occupiers such as Screwfix, the Blue Monkey Brewery and One Fit.
Jonathon Seddon of NG Chartered Surveyors observed, “We have only two units left to market and one of those is under offer with completion imminent. Hence, I’d recommend anyone wanting a 3,000 sq ft unit on one of the best Industrial Parks in the Region to get on the phone to us quickly”!
