Carlton’s Toby Jug Retail Development

Acting in conjunction with NG Chartered Surveyors, The Moore Group, have announced they have submitted a planning application for the redevelopment of the Toby Jug Public House on Carlton Hill.
The existing premises are to be demolished in their entirety to provide a new two storey building with 3,000 sq ft of open plan retail sales on the ground floor and storage and offices above. The unit will also benefit from 12 dedicated parking spaces to the rear.
As you would expect with such a prominently positioned unit, there is already strong interest in the development from a number of national retail chains. Ray Valenti of NG Chartered Surveyors commented “Our clients bought the premises with the intention of redeveloping the existing public house, given the lack of good quality, well proportioned retail stock on Carlton Hill which is a good local retail pitch.
