When a landlord of a mixed portfolio of retail, industrial and residential properties, needed management expertise on refurbishment works at an iconic Nottingham address, he turned to NG Chartered Surveyors.
The property, which is owned by the Trustees of the Jones 1986 Charitable Trust, at 3/7 Middle Pavement, Nottingham, is home to retailer Whistles on the ground floor, with fully-let offices on the upper floors.
We utilised its revolutionary Re-Leased software to upload the project information onto a temporary client account to enable us to show the system working in real-time.
Re-Leased is cloud-based, which means not only is it secure, but it also enables superb levels of accessibility to our clients. Whilst we will retain full control of the system, our clients are able to access pertinent data and documents in real-time, on an app that’s straightforward and easy to navigate.
Working to a strict service charge budget, we organised an extensive refurbishment of the internal communal areas of this building, which is located in a prime Nottingham city centre location.
The project gave us the perfect chance to show off our full range of management expertise. We are now also in the process of helping The Trust add to and diversify its portfolio and are close to completing on the acquisition of retail units of a national covenant-strength occupier.
Nigel Lindley at The Trust said:
“What really stood out for me on this project was NG’s passion for wanting to do the best job they possibly could for me. Jude and James were full of great ideas and are now helping me add to and strengthen my portfolio with a further £2m investment. It’s fantastic to be able to turn to the professionals when I need to – NG provide a one-stop service for all my property requirements.”
