20th April 2014
Commercial property specialist NG Chartered Surveyors has let a 3,268 sq ft site on the Robin Hood Industrial Park in Nottingham to charity organisation Sue Ryder acting jointly with LSH (Nottingham).
The organisation, which provides care for people with life-changing illnesses, will take Unit One on the estate on a 5-year lease, and use it to store excess stock as it engages on a rapid expansion programme.
The site provides 3,268 sq ft of internal accommodation, plus parking facilities at the front of the unit.
Sunny Landa, Director at Nottingham-based NG, said: “The rise of the charity retail sector has been well documented and it’s great to see that Sue Ryder is thriving. This charity carries out vital work, and it’s great to seal this deal as part of its ambitious expansion plans.
“The Robin Hood Industrial Estate is an extremely popular location for tenants looking for a central location. The estate is less than 1km from Nottingham’s inner ring road and numerous arterial routes are within easy reach. “
Liz Jarmin Head of Estates at Sue Ryder added: “Sue Ryder needed the new warehouse space to support our shop expansion programme and provide a place to store, sort and manage excess stock that our stock generation campaigns are producing. We will now be able to manage our stock much more efficiently than we have been able to do in the past and therefore enable us to maximise our resources and minimise any loss.”
Units 2 and 3 on the Robin Hood Industrial Estate are available, comprising of 6,448 sq ft of quality space.
