Forbes Park forges ahead with first tenants set to move in
23rd July 2021
Work on Clowes Developments’ seven-acre Forbes Park development on Fields Farm, Long Eaton is proceeding at a rapid pace.
The steel frames are up on blocks D and F at the scheme, which, when finished, will comprise seven high quality trade counter/light industrial units. In total the two blocks amount to approximately 28,000 sq ft.
F Block will be finished first this Autumn with three well-known trade counter occupiers set to move in to give a real boost to the scheme.
D block is set to complete shortly after.
Other exciting news at Forbes Park includes the recent granting of planning permission for four retail units fronting Fields Farm Road aimed at the grab-and-go food and drink market. These are scheduled for completion in Spring 2022 but are already attracting significant interest and the first pre-let announcements aren’t too far away.
Richard Sutton, managing director at NG Chartered Surveyors, said: “Forbes Park is set to be one of the best new light industrial developments built in the East Midlands in recent times.
Phase 2 accommodates three larger warehouse production units and, as with everything at Forbes Park, they are already attracting very strong interest. Indeed, the way things are going we expect the entire development to be fully let or sold prior to completion.”
