Future is Sunny for NG’s Latest Associate Partner
16th January 2013
NG Chartered Surveyors has promoted Sunny Landa to Associate Partner. At the age of just 26 and having started with NG as a graduate in 2009, Sunny has quickly risen through the ranks to take a top position in the company.
Sunny, Nottingham born and bred, studied locally and went to NG as a placement student in 2007 – and returned a year later.
In the teeth of the recession, NG bucked the trend and took Sunny on as its graduate at a time when the bigger firms were laying off their trainees. NG partner, Richard Sutton, who has been mentor to Sunny, says he recognised his real potential.
Sunny said: “It goes without saying that I am delighted to have been promoted to Associate Partner. It is something I have worked hard for since arriving at NG just a few years ago.
“The NG team is very close knit, almost like a family firm. We have a great future ahead of us. It is great to be a part of that success.”
Richard said: “At 26, Sunny is one of the youngest partners in Nottingham and he deserves his new role. He has delivered at every stage in his career so far with us. His energy and drive is phenomenal; he constantly comes up with new ideas and new ways of doing things.”
Sunny, who speaks Urdu and Punjabi, has worked on a number of deals in the industrial sector across Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Derbyshire.
“Not only does Sunny have the personality and the contacts, but he is now developing all skills required of a great surveyor,” said Richard. “He has recently won a number of significant instructions through his network of clients and contacts which will be coming to fruition in the early part of 2013 – so watch this space.”
Sunny took up his new role from 1 January 2013.
