NG Lets its Former Derby Road Home to Expanding Display Marketing Supplier
10th September 2013
NG Chartered Surveyors has completed the letting of its former home in Nottingham’s Derby Road to expanding display marketing company Product Web.
NG has just relocated to Holland House in West Bridgford, freeing up the prime city centre office space it previously occupied.
The new occupier, Product Web, was based at offices in Ropewalk for the past six years, but is relocating to the more spacious Derby Road site in Clinton Terrace in preparation for further growth.
Richard Sutton, director at NG Chartered Surveyors, said he was pleased to have completed the letting to Product Web so quickly.
He added: “It’s nice to see a successful local business moving into a building with real potential. Opportunities like this one are always highly sought after.
“I hope Product Web will enjoy their new base at our former office. We have many happy memories of our successes there.”
Product Web is a leading supplier to the display marketing industry, supplying a wide variety of gifts, books and toys for sale to end users in schools, hospitals, local industry and government departments across the UK and Ireland.
Product Web’s managing director Phil Howes said this is the third move for Product Web since starting the business in 2005.
“Initially we operated from a small office and warehouse of just 1000 sq ft in the Meadows. In 2006 we moved offices to The Ropewalk and our warehouse to Bottesford.
“In 2012 we increased our warehousing capacity once again with a move to a 35,000 sq ft facility in Bingham. This latest move to Clinton Terrace gives the company even more space which will enable us to expand our buying team and IT department.”
Law firm Fraser Brown acted on behalf of Product Web to complete the deal, with Actons representing NG Chartered Surveyors.
NG’s move to West Bridgford was driven by an increase in enquires from the area, and because a lot of its staff live locally. The company also recently announced the promotion of Sunny Landa, Jonathon Seddon and Sarah Shepherd to directors, and Richard Brown to managing director.
Richard Sutton said: “We are looking forward to a new era at our new office. The move and the firm’s reorganisation will reinvigorate NG and will see the company moving to an exciting new period of development.”
