NG makes Top 3 in Estates Gazette charts
30th April 2014
NG Chartered Surveyors is celebrating after being crowned one of the most active agents by commercial property industry bible Estates Gazette.
NG came in third in the Estates Gazette’s Most Active Agents in Nottinghamshire rankings – a remarkable achievement for a single office Practice given the size of the other multi-office agencies that make up the top 3. Over the last 12 months, NG has acted on a range of deals for landlords, tenants and investors over a wide range of commercial premises ranging from small offices, through to large industrial estates.
Jonathon Seddon at NG said: “We’re thrilled to be recognised by the Estates Gazette. We’ve noticed a determined recovery in the office and industrial market over the past 12 months, and this has been mirrored on the deals we’ve been involved in.
“When we moved from Canning Circus into West Bridgford last year, a few eyebrows were raised by our peers in the city, but we knew that the prominent location of the new offices and their configuration were right for us and this has been vindicated by our position in the rankings. Our presence in Nottinghamshire is growing because we offer a straightforward, no nonsense service that clients seem to like. We’re close to the market and this helps us know instinctively what they need – be they landlords or tenants”.
However, NG is spreading its wings, and it’s not just Nottinghamshire where the company is excelling for its clients.
Richard Sutton adds: “We’ve been busy away from Nottinghamshire too. We’ve recently brokered deals for the sale of an industrial estate in Loughborough, big sheds in Chesterfield and we currently have a couple of large deals going through in Sheffield. We’re using the experience and contacts we’ve made whilst busy in Nottinghamshire to expand the business and move into new territories.”
