8th December 2015
A fast-expanding consumer financial services business is set to move into new, prestigious headquarters in Nottingham, in a deal brokered by commercial property specialists NG Chartered Surveyors.
Dollar Financial, which employs 400 people in the city and owns high street brands The Money Shop and Payday UK, has signed a deal to take the 10,000 sq ft Cardinal House office building on Abbeyfield Court in Nottingham.
Dollar Financial has signed a lease for 3 years and 3 months on the building.
Sunny Landa, director at NG Chartered Surveyors, who acted for the landlord on the deal, said: “This is a landmark office deal for Nottingham, and proves that whilst stock is limited, there is still space for ambitious companies such as Dollar Financial to expand in to.
“This deal was a particularly smooth one, and means that Dollar are able to realise their growth potential whilst remaining in Nottingham and creating jobs. We’re delighted to have been able to complete the deal for our client, and wish Dollar all the best for their future at Abbeyfield Court. We’d urge other growing companies to get in touch with us so that we can help with their property requirements.”
Russell Thompson at Massers acted for the landlords.
The prestigious Abbeyfield Court development, which was designed by award-winning architects Franklin Ellis, is situated off Lenton Lane, adjacent to the A52 and Nottingham Ring Road. It is located 3 miles west of Nottingham City Centre, with good access to Junction 24 of the M1 approximately 10 miles away and 7.5 miles from Junction 25.
