NG Provides Spark for EPS Group Energy Firm to Grow with Office Deal
7th August 2017
A strategic marketing deal by Nottingham-based commercial property specialists NG Chartered Surveyors has brought forward the sale of a prime city office space.
Acting on behalf of a private client, Sunny Landa, director at NG has brokered a deal to sell the 3,192 sq ft 3 Pelham Court in the Carrington area of Nottingham to fast-growing energy consultancy and compliance firm EPS Group.
“It’s always extremely satisfying to complete a deal that will mean an innovative company like EPS Group will be able to expand and bring new jobs to Nottingham.
“We used a very targeted marketing campaign on 3 Pelham Court to ensure that our client’s premises were sold quickly to the ideal buyer. We wish Jamie Holmes and his team at EPS all the best in their new home – we’re sure they’ll be another Nottingham success story.”
“Demand for high-quality office space such as 3 Pelham Court remains high. My message to landlords looking to either rent or sell their office portfolio would be to invest, invest, invest. Occupiers are willing to spend more on higher quality office stock, and returns on investment can be impressive. We’re here to help you with our in-depth market knowledge, so please get in touch.”
Jamie Holmes, director of EPS Group said the primary motivation for purchasing the premises was to provide EPS Group with sufficient space to support the continued and sustained growth of the business over the next few years. He continued:
“We also want to provide our staff with a better working environment in terms of comfort, lighting and layout which will hopefully improve the working dynamic of the business.
“Pelham Court is an ideal location for our business being on the edge of the city centre and within close proximity to several major bus routes. This should ease journey times for our staff that do not drive whilst also helping to attract future employees.
“The property also represents a long-term investment as we will be looking to lease the ground floor offices to future tenants as two separate units.”
Jamie says EPS Group’s Our immediate priority is to complete a scheme of refurbishment at 3 Pelham Court before relocating EPS Group and advertising for tenants for the ground floor accommodation. Jamie added:
“Once in place, we are looking to continue to grow our new build energy calculation and testing services (SAP Calculations, SBEM Calculations and Air Leakage Testing) on both a regional and national basis. This will hopefully lead to the creation of new employment positions.
“The purchase of 3 Pelham Court has been facilitated by NatWest who have provided a fantastic service from an initial meeting with our Business Manager Dean Goode to the underwriting team who quickly dealt with some last minute legal hitches to allow the purchase to complete on time.”
