NG Seals Deal for Sherwood Energy Village Deal
26th February 2018
NG Chartered Surveyors has sold a light industrial unit at the pioneering Sherwood Energy Village.
Acting on behalf of landlord Rufford House Group Limited, Sunny Landa, director at NG Chartered Surveyors, has sold Rufford House on Darwin Drive.
The property is located in the heart of the Sherwood Energy Village, a 91-acre redevelopment of the former Ollerton Colliery site, which closed in 1994. It is located on the fringes of Ollerton, just off the A614 providing access to Mansfield, Worksop, Retford and Newark and both the A1 and M1 motorway.
The development was constructed on environmental, ethical and sustainable principles, with on-site developments complying to the highest environmental standards.
“Sherwood Energy Village has been an incredibly popular development over the last decade, and Rufford House was particularly appealing as it offered a Freehold opportunity. Low stock levels meant we were able to achieve a good price for our client, meaning this was a very satisfying deal for all concerned.”
Jordan Holt of Rufford House Group said:
“We were looking to dispose of Rufford House after we acquired a 27,000 sq ft building in Retford. Sunny was recommended to me by William Wall of Banks Long who acted as the agent on our purchase.
“We’re very pleased with the deal, and it has been very easy to deal with Sunny and NG from the very start of the process and throughout the transaction – the sale has been quick and straightforward.”
