NG Show Pride in Derby with CSA Group’s Office Relocation Deal
23rd June 2015
A fast-growing product evaluation and certification business has expanded onto Pride Park in Derby, in a deal brokered by commercial property specialists NG Chartered Surveyors.
The CSA Group, which is the UK’s leading provider of ex-product certification and environmental monitoring services, has relocated from Bakewell in Derbyshire to the 2,022 sq ft 43 Brunel Parkway building on Pride Park.
The deal was completed on behalf of private clients by Sunny Landa at NG Chartered Surveyors. Sunny said: “Pride Park is a highly successful location, and so we’re delighted to complete this deal for our clients – and find a new home for the CSA Group, which is growing quickly.
“We know 43 Brunel Parkway as we’ve managed the building for several years now, and this knowledge was key in finding a tenant for our client. Once again, our hands-on approach and clear, sensible advice has meant a quick turnaround on a deal. We’d urge more companies looking to move in to Derby to get in touch with us at NG.”
Ian Rippin, Managing Director at the CSA Group, said: “It’s great to be in our new home. Having closed our Bakewell offices, we needed more fit-for-purpose accommodation for our satellite office staff. We chose Pride Park because of its location close to Derby Railway Station, on a prestigious business park.
“We’re looking to expand our team in Derby, and being located in an area of Derbyshire synonymous with engineering excellence will provide access to the local talent pool.
“We would like to thank Sunny and the NG team for a very smooth move to our new home.”
Oliver Harding, landlord of 43 Brunel Parkway, added: “We were impressed with Sunny’s knowledge and determination in letting the property, as opposed to using a more local estate agent.
Dealings with Sunny and the NG team have always been great, they are friendly and approachable and dedicated in looking for a potential tenant. In respect of price achieved, I am most satisfied.
43 Brunel Parkway is located in the heart of Pride Park, one of the UK’s largest single urban regeneration projects, totalling over 130 acres.
Flint Bishop acted as legal advisers for the landlords, with DTM Legal acting for the CSA Group. Knight Frank provided property advice to CSA.
