Sherwood Oaks: NG Brought on Board to Market the Scheme
8th March 2011
Regal Sherwood Ltd, owners of Sherwood Oaks Business Park, the 35 acre mixed use development site on the edge of Mansfield, have recently appointed NG Chartered Surveyors to work in conjunction with the existing agents, Fisher Hargreaves Proctor, to promote the remaining phases of the popular development.
The site, located on the A617 Southwell Road West close to its junction with the MARR has, since its inception, attracted a variety of different occupiers including G K Ford, Rainworth Motors who have opened a Skoda dealership, along with the 120 bed St Andrew’s Nursing Home, whilst Marstons Inns are putting the finishing touches to a new pub/restaurant.
The appointment will see NG Chartered Surveyors initially focus upon the balance of the first phase of the 12,000 sq ft office park, along with promoting a 4.5 acre Trade Park at the front of the site.
Jonathon Seddon of NG Chartered Surveyors commented “I am delighted to have been appointed by Regal Sherwood Oaks on this instruction. The existing offices are an exceptional product which have been competitively priced to either buy or rent and I am confident they will go quickly now that occupiers are starting to re-gain confidence following what has been a long and deep recession. I am equally enthused by the opportunities afforded by the 4.5 acre plot at the front of the site. In the past, it has attracted strong interest from a wide variety of different occupiers ranging from hotel groups through to trade counter businesses and we have already managed to re-ignite interest from a number of these organisations, but needless to say they aren’t the only ones we’ll be talking to!”
Mark Holbeche of Regal Property Group Ltd commented
“We are delighted to announce the instruction of NG Chartered Surveyors to act for us on this important gateway site. Since the new year, we have seen renewed levels of interest in the offices, trade counter and industrial sites and with a wealth of experience in these sectors we are confident that NG will assist us in attracting new occupiers to the Park”
