Strong Interest in Nottingham City Centre Industrial Estate
26th February 2013
Following a successful 2012, NG Chartered Surveyors has been instructed to let space at an industrial estate close to the City Centre by CBRE Global Investors.
Four units – varying from 3,292 sq ft to 6,615 sq ft in size – are available at Robin Hood Industrial Estate, located just under a mile outside the City Centre between Robin Hood Street and Alfred Street.
NG is working jointly with LSH. Sunny Landa, from NG, said: “There has been a lot of interest in these units, and the central location is definitely the key selling point. Its a rare thing to find an industrial estate that is so close to the City Centre. Its great for businesses that want to be close to town.
“We’ve had enquiries and viewings from all types of businesses including a gym, a distribution company, a clothing manufacturer and a laboratory. The largest unit has attracted the most interest so far and I’ve already had an offer.”
“Its encouraging to see interest in the industrial property that is coming on to the market in Nottingham. This is clearly a great opportunity and I would recommend businesses interested in the units seeing them sooner rather than later.”
The estate has 16 units altogether – with current tenants mostly distributors. Around £200,000 is being invested into a complete refurbishment of the four units on offer, which will see each have an open warehouse space and a dedicated office area. The refurbishment of the largest unit is already complete, with the others due to be completed in the next few weeks.
Sean Bremner, from LSH, said: “This estate has always been popular with local businesses, but the refurbishment will give it a new lease of life. The landlord has been really proactive in improving the standard of the units, and the refurbishment means that we can accommodate businesses with immediate requirements. The level of enquiries is strong and we hope this to improve once the works are complete”
