UP, UP AND AWAY AS NG LAUNCHES AIRBORNE DIVISION
5th October 2020
NG Chartered Surveyors are pleased to announce the addition of aerial surveys to the firm’s repertoire of services.
Nicknamed the ‘NG Airborne Division’, the drone aerial surveys confirm NG as being at the forefront of the creative, innovative and technological market, and adds to the company’s ‘NG Virtual Viewing’ service.
Richard Brown and Charlotte Steggles of NG have both completed remote pilot training, including theory and practical flight tests, and NG has been issued with its Permission for Commercial Operations (PfCO) by the CAA.
Richard is now able to offer clients rooftop and high-level surveys, as part of Schedules of Condition and Schedules of Dilapidations. This will enable full over-access of roof tops, an area which has traditionally been limited by the size of the cherry picker.
Charlotte, who is working within the Agency team, will be able to offer high quality photography and videography of agency properties, to give an aerial and undoubtedly more impressive perspective.
Both will also work with the Management Department to offer clients upper level surveys of their property, as well as the ability to identify problems and issues in areas of buildings that are otherwise inaccessible.
“The ability to see live pictures over the full extent of a roof or top of a building, will significantly improve the level, detail and speed of service we can offer.”
“We have seen in recent years how photography and the use of technology has helped with marketing. The use of drone technology allows us to show prospective tenants or purchasers where the property sits in relation to the city or the site. The use of drone technology is also benefiting our management clients as we can try and identify any issues to properties which are usually inaccessible or hard to get to.”
